Before, I was think that Instructional Technology was the use of communications media (Hardware & Software ) to help people to learn. It is focus on audiovisual media such as radio, television, film, slides and audio recording. Nowadays, I have a clear idea about the meaning of Instructional technology. It is a systematic way (theory and practice) of designing, , developing, utilizing, managing, and evaluating of processes of learning & teaching based on human and nonhuman resources to facilitating learning and improving performance by creating, using, and managing appropriate technological processes and resources.
There are many benefits of using Instruction Technology in education:
· The process of learning can become a lot easier, if it is adapted to different learning styles.
· It is possible to customize the educational syllabus and course, as per the needs of the students.
· Instructional Technology can be efficiently implemented in the school to improve the processes of learning and teaching, by providing proper instructions and education.
· The curriculum for a particular course can be improved by increasing its depth, to cope with the 'information explosion' of today.
